Contractors & Suppliers

About Procurement

Our Suppliers and Subcontractors are essential members of MasTec Network Solutions, LLC's contracting and procurement functions in support of the company's diverse business portfolio. As a Supplier or Subcontractor, we depend on your expert knowledge, quality, and integrity to consistently bring the best solutions to our projects. Our Acquisition Strategy is to use the best technologies, world-class products and services, and local content to provide an optimized supply chain base for each project and customer.

We work with qualified Suppliers and Subcontractors who commit to delivering quality, on time, and on budget. We are committed to the highest safety and ethical standards in the industry and expect the same dedication from our Supplier and Subcontractor organizations. We seek Suppliers and Subcontractors who understand their obligations and work with us to meet our customers' expectations.

It is our responsibility to fully comply with U.S. export and import control regulations and we request the full support of our Subcontractors and Suppliers. Compliance with U.S. export and import laws is critical to ensuring all parties continue their export and import privileges uninterrupted and maintain their ability to engage in the global marketplace. Our staff is segmented into experienced specialists for contracting, procuring, and materials management. Most of our staff are dedicated to direct support of our projects while others play a more indirect role by providing support services.

Frequent communication and visits to our supplier's and subcontractor's facilities is a common practice. This reinforces our proactive approach to resolving potential issues which help Suppliers and Subcontractors deliver consistent value to the customer, in a timely manner. Supplier and Subcontractor Quality surveillance is performed in accordance with approved Quality Plans with the purpose of verifying compliance to purchase order requirements and specifications. Sound knowledge of industry codes and standards is applied to identify non-conforming quality and manufacturing issues before they have a chance to impact any project.
